First look of Madhavan’s Adhirshtasaali: Is Maddy playing a dual role or has Mithran Jawahar whipped up something special?

First look of Madhavan starrer Adhirshtasaali is out.

Director Mithran Jawahar, known for his films with Dhanush, especially their recent collaboration, Thiruchitrambalam, is back with his next. Titled, Adhirshtasaali, the film stars Madhavan in the lead alongside Madonna Sebastian, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and Sai Dhansika. Recently, the makers released the first look poster of the film, which promises to be quite an intriguing ride.

In the first look, we see Madhavan in twin roles of a suave and wealthy businessman in an urban setting and a worried and pensive person in an almost fairytale-ish countryside setting. Written by Jeyamohan, Adhirshtasaali marks the maiden collaboration of Madhavan and Mithran. The film has been shot across various locations in Scotland, and is billed to be one of the most expensive films of Mithran.

Adhirshtasaali marks the reunion of Mithran and Yuvan Shankar Raja after Yaaradi Nee Mohini. It is also Yuvan’s reunion with Madhavan after Vettai (2012). Adhirshtasaali is backed by Sharmila, Reka Vikki, and Manoj Mulki.

Apart from this project, Madhavan has an interesting lineup of films, including Y Not Films’ Sashikanth’s directorial debut, Test. The film also stars Nayanthara and Siddharth in the lead roles. There are also a bunch of Hindi films like De De Pyaar De 2, Shankara, Dhurandhar, and Dharma’s upcoming film on the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, in various stages of production.
