Arya dons the gloves again for Sarpatta Parambarai 2 and Mr X. Watch

The actor took to social media to share a video from his boxing practice session as he prepares to play the underdog hero Kabilan of Sarpatta Paramabarai. The film, which missed a theatrical release due to the pandemic, received an overwhelmingly positive response upon its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime.

Both Arya and Pa Ranjith have expressed their disappointment with the film not getting a proper theatrical release. However, with the second part in the making, Kabilan will make his entry on the big screen. Pa Ranjith is currently busy with the post-production of Thangalaan, and he is expected to team up with Ranjith soon.

On top of that, Arya is teaming up with Manu Anand of FIR (Vishnu Vishal film) fame for a film, titled Mr X. Other than Arya, the film has Manju Warrier and Gautham Karthik in important roles.
