Though rumours suggesting a romantic involvement between National Award-winning actor Keerthy Suresh and renowned composer Anirudh Ravichander have been doing the rounds for quite some time now, speculations escalated further when reports emerged recently indicating that the two celebrities were planning to tie the knot soon.
Nevertheless, Keerthy herself has now come forward to dismiss these rumours, stating that they were “wrong news”. When Times Now sought clarification from Keerthy regarding this matter, she responded to the media outlet by saying, “It is wrong news. Anirudh is a good friend of mine.”
When asked about the possibility of her impending marriage, Keerthy mentioned, “It will happen at some point in time.”
Meanwhile, Keerthy Suresh’s father, the renowned Malayalam film producer and actor G Suresh Kumar, also dismissed the claims. “There’s absolutely no truth in that. The reports are all baseless without an iota of truth in it. There have been news of so many other link-ups too and this is not the first time someone is putting up a news story about her and Anirudh either,” he told OTTPlay.
This is not the first occasion on which speculations have arisen regarding Keerthy’s romantic relationships. There were previous rumours suggesting that Keerthy was in a relationship with businessman Farhan Bin Liaquath.
Recently, Keerthy was spotted at director Atlee Kumar’s house, celebrating the success of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, with the filmmaker and his wife Priya. Keerthy also shared a video of her and Priya grooving to Anirudh Ravichander’s melodious track, “Chaleya”, from Jawan. Though Keerthy has never joined forces with Atlee for a project, the two and Atlee’s wife Priya share a very close bond.
Keerthy, who was last seen in Meher Ramesh’s Bhola Shankar, is currently busy with several projects, including Suman Kumar’s Raghu Thatha.
Anirudh, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his highly-anticipated Tamil actioner, Leo, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He will also be composing the music for S Shankar’s Indian 2 and Lokesh’s Thalaivar 171.
