Thuppakki, AR Murugadoss‘ first collaboration with Tamil star Vijay, turned out to be an important benchmark in Tamil cinema, and a huge credit goes to the film’s antagonist Vidyut Jammwal. The actor played the role of a terrorist who hunts down the comrades of the hero. Now, Murugadoss has teamed up with Vidyut for his comeback film in Tamil, which has Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.

Tentatively titled SK23, as it marks the 23rd film of Sivakarthikeyan, the upcoming film will have Siva locking horns with Vidyut. The confirmation came from the official Twitter handle of Sri Lakshmi Movies. The tweet also had a behind-the-scenes video, which featured a bearded Vidyut interacting with the director.

Vidyut Jammwal is known for his exceptional martial arts skills and dynamic action sequences. With a beefed-up Sivkarthikeyan, fans eagerly await the on-screen chemistry and dynamic interplay between these two talented actors.

Other than Vidyut, Biju Menon and Rukmini Vasanth have been roped in for the film.

Director AR Murugadoss, known for films like Ghajini, Thuppakki, and Kaththi, is set to helm this ambitious project after a gap of four years. He is also directing Salman Khan in the film Sikander, which will also star Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Murugadoss will simultaneously direct both the movies.

Meanwhile, Sivkarthikeyan is also part of Amaran, produced by Kamal Haasan, which is expected to be released this year.
