South Indian actress Amala Paul and her husband Jagat Desai have been blessed with a baby boy. The couple welcomed their son Ilai on June 11, 2024, and shared the heartwarming news with their fans on Instagram on June 17.

Amala posted an adorable video on her Instagram handle, capturing tender moments of the new parents cuddling their newborn. The post was captioned, “It’s a boy !! Meet our little miracle, ILAI born on 11.06.2024.”

The video also showed the couple bringing Ilai home from the hospital, with their home beautifully decorated with colorful balloons to celebrate the precious occasion. The news was met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and colleagues.

Amala, who has made a significant mark in Tamil and Malayalam films, shared moments from her baby shower in April. The couple had announced the pregnancy in January with a series of pictures.

Amala Paul and Jagat Desai tied the knot in November 2023. Jagat is from Goa and works as a manager in a popular luxury villa in the state. Amala was earlier married to Tamil director AL Vijay, but the two parted ways after three years.

Amala, known for her roles in films like Deiva Thirumagal, VIP, and Ratsasan, was last seen in Prithviraj’s Aadujeevitham. She has Level Cross in the pipeline.
