The film will premiere at the Ladakh International Film Festival After facing several censorship controversies, Dar Motion Pictures and Phantom Production’s ‘Ugly’, written and directed by Anurag Kashyap, will finally hit the screens on September 19 this year.
The psychological drama, starring Rahul Bhat, Ronit Roy and Girish Kulkarni, will now clash with the Sonam Kapoor-starrer ‘Khoobsurat’.
First premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year, ‘Ugly’ will now have its Asian premiere at the third edition of the Ladakh International Film Festival (LIFF), to be held in Leh from June 27-29. It will be showcased at the Green Carpet Premiere of LIFF.
