Shiv Pandit, who became popular after having played an inspector in the telly serial FIR, has been roped in to play one of the lead characters in Saurabh Varma’s next directorial venture titled Meet The Patels. The film is about two carefree Gujarati boys, Tom Patel and Jerry Patel. The telly actor, who was earlier seen in films like Shaitaan and Boss, will play one of the lead roles — Tom Patel, while another actor is yet to be roped in to play Jerry Patel.
Shiv Pandit mentions, “Yes, I have signed up for the film, but I cannot disclose anything else out of sheer respect for Saurabh. You’ll have to wait for his official announcement.” Being produced by Krian Media, the shooting of the film will begin in the first week of November. It will release on April 24, 2015.
