Actress turned director Pooja Bhatt and her husband Manish Makhija (former Channel V, VJ and restaurateur) of 11 years have decided to part ways. Pooja confirmed the news on Twitter. The two had met on the sets of Paap and married in Goa in 1997. Though they are no longer a couple, the two are likely to be working together on Pooja’s next film Cabaret for which Manish is composing music.
Nobel experience
Actress and activist Freida Pinto attended the Nobel Peace prize ceremony where Malala Yousafzai, Pakistani activist for female education and Indian child rights campaigner Kailash Satyarthi were felicitated with the ultimate honour – Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway on December 10. Pinto was seen attending both the ceremonies and the concert the next day and even presented Malala to the crowds at the concert.
