The trailer of Dhanush’s upcoming Tamil action comedy, ‘Maari’ is finally here and it’s definitely got us excited.
Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film revolves around a local Chennai goon, played by none other than National award winning actor Dhanush. The trailer starts off with tales of Maari, who is apparently this powerful ruffian that the cops simply cannot lay a finger on.
And then enters the supposedly deadly man in a lungi and shade, stroking his impressive curled mustache. Nothing in his area is done without his consent as he controls everything including the heart of a beautiful ‘powder-faced girl, played by Kajal Aggarwal.
Interestingly, pigeons play an important part in the film as that’s all that Maari cared about in his initial thug years.
Produced by Wunderbar Films and Magic Frames, ‘Maari’ also stars Vijay Yesudas and Robo Shankar. The film is slated to release on July 17.
