‘Irumugan’ teaser on Vikram’s 50th birthday

“The makers of ‘Irumugan’ have decided to release the teaser on Sunday as it coincides with Vikram’s birthday. It’s special because he turns 50, and hence, we’re planning to release 50 seconds teaser,” a source from the film’s unit told.

Tamil actor Vikram turns 50 on Sunday (April 17) and on this special occasion the makers of his upcoming film “Irumugan” will unveil the film’s first teaser.

“The makers have decided to release the teaser on Sunday as it coincides with Vikram’s birthday. It’s special because he turns 50, and hence, we’re planning to release 50 seconds teaser,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

Directed by Anand Shankar, the film features Vikram in dual roles – as a spy and a transgender.

The film, which has music by Harris Jayaraj, also stars Nayanthara and Nithya Menen.

“Irumugana has been so far shot in Bangalore, Malaysia and Ladakh.
