BTS member Suga recently released his first solo album D-DAY and has been promoting it with a world tour. This is Suga’s first solo album and has released a few months after the band announced its hiatus. In a recent promotional interview, Suga revealed that before becoming a part of the internationally popular band, he used to be a food delivery guy.
In a chat with Jimmy Fallon, when asked about his job as a delivery rider, Suga said that he “was very good at it” as he was “good at driving.” Suga has previously spoken about the same when he said that he used to do this job to pay for his education.
Suga spoke a bit about BTS as well in this interaction. He revealed a tradition that the BTS members followed before going on stage. The band has not performed as a septet and will not be getting together anytime soon as two members, Jin and J-Hope, are currently completing their mandatory military training.
Suga revealed that before taking the stage, the band takes a shot of whiskey together. “I actually take a shot of whiskey with the band before I go on stage. For real. We take a shot together. Then we go up on stage,” he said.
Suga first revealed his avatar of Agust D in his 2016 mixtape. In the interview, he also explained the genesis of his name which basically is an ode to his home town Daegu.
