RM, also known as Kim Namjoon, from BTS made a recent appearance on Colde’s Blue Room. During the interview, the rapper discussed a range of topics, including the significance of love and dealing with hateful individuals on social media. He also shared his views about why musicians keep singing about love and being in love.
RM called out haters and trolls, expressing his confusion about the energy and inclination they have to spread hatred towards others. He said, “As we’re living in a social world, it’s become very easy to express emotions of hatred and despise. I think it’s gross to see someone who has so much hateful energy toward someone else. I mean, of course, we can talk about sadness and hatred, but at the end of the day, speaking of love and spreading love and positive energy is a virtue, and that’s what I believe so.”
Talking about love, the singer said, “Even though we said, ‘Don’t ever say love me,’ we still dream of love. We live for love. What drives us to love is simply because it’s in us.”
Fans praised RM for sharing his honest opinions. One of the fans wrote, “I can listen forever to Namjoon speaking. Whether it’s about love, life, or his music, he’s always fascinating and introspective. I love this man.” Another commented, “I really love these small interactions, it really gives us a birds eye view into their daily lives and emotions. Thank you for the beautiful song and I hope you both find great support in your personal relationships.”
Talking about his upcoming projects, RM said, “Recently, I’ve been making music. I don’t think it’ll be released any time soon. I’ve been actively working on projects with various new musicians including Colde. I don’t know when they would be dropped.”
