BTS’s RM has shared heart-wrenching news with his fans, revealing that his pet dog, Moni, passed away three months ago. In a recent Weverse session, RM expressed the profound sadness his family felt over Moni’s loss. To commemorate Moni’s memory, RM has bought a painting resembling his dog and hung it in his room.
“Monie crossed the rainbow bridge 2 or 3 months ago… He didn’t spend much time with me, but my family, who shared their lives with him, is finding it difficult because he was family. I hope our Moni will be happy as a Puppy star too,” RM conveyed, as translated by @Lovly_mochitwin on Twitter.
RM officially debuted as a solo artist in 2022 with the release of his studio album Indigo, which featured collaborations with Erykah Badu and Anderson Paak. The album achieved a remarkable feat, reaching number three on the Billboard 200 chart and marking the highest-charting album by a Korean soloist. According to a report by OTTPlay, RM was recently appointed as the public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defence’s excavation team.
Amid BTS members fulfilling mandatory military service, the global K-Pop sensation has temporarily paused their group performances. Some members have taken this opportunity to release their solo albums. This month, BTS’s V unveiled his debut solo album titled Layover, scheduled for release on September 8, 2023. V has also released the album’s first song, “Rainy Days.” Furthermore, Jung Kook is making waves with his debut solo single “Seven,” which has even landed on the Hot 100 chart.
