Despite the film industry’s tendency to borrow from successful movies by incorporating their themes and storylines, it was surprising that no one attempted to create movies featuring brass bands at the core, in spite of their strong cultural significance in the region, following the huge success of Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Amen (2013).
After almost a decade, a new film that centres on the members of a brass band is about to be released on May 19. Titled Jackson Bazaar Youth, the Shamal Sulaiman directorial stars Lukman Avaran, Indrans, Jaffer Idukki, Chinnu Chandni, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Fahim Safar, and Anagha Ashok among others.
The 135-second trailer of the upcoming flick that the makers released on May 5 has already grabbed the attention of many.
The video starts by featuring the members of Jackson Bazaar Youth band, including Lukman Avaran and Jaffer Idukki, who have the ability to create music that can make listeners feel ecstatic. The video provides an introduction to the band and showcases its musical talent through a few shots. According to one of the characters, the Jackson Bazaar Youth band is very famous on social media.
The trailer’s mood shifts suddenly as unexpected events occur in the lives of the members of the Jackson Bazaar Youth band. The trailer then introduces a police character portrayed by Indrans, whose eyes are devoid of any compassion.
Throughout the remainder of the trailer, viewers are presented with gripping moments that provide insight into how the members of the Jackson Bazaar Youth band are trying to resolve a troubling situation they find themselves in.
