Dulquer Salmaan pens note on the eve of his production venture Adi’s release: ‘It’s a lovely film with some of my favourite actors’’

Dulquer Salmaan has turned producer for the upcoming Malayalam film Adi, starring Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna.

Malayalam actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan took to social media on Thursday to share his feelings about his latest production venture Adi. On the eve of the film’s release, Dulquer wrote about his dream to produce films starring other actors and Adi is part of that dream.

Sharing the film’s poster, DQ wrote, “#Adi a film we made with a lot of love releases tomorrow. It’s a lovely film with some of my favourite actors and a close knit team that believed in it every step of the way. We’ve faced many hurdles with covid and what not. But we were hell bent on bringing it to the cinemas. We come out tomorrow and I request all of you to watch the film with your friends and families. Share your feedback with us.”

He further wrote, “One of my goals with Wayfarer Films was to also green light films with other actors and not just make home productions of my films. This was something we wanted to be a part of as soon as we heard it. Thank you to all of you for the support and encouragement for all the content we are a part of. Can’t wait for tomorrow.”

Adi stars Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna in the lead roles. The story revolves around a married couple, played by Shine and Ahaana, and how the wife eventually realises that her husband is hiding something from her.

On the acting front, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in King Of Kotha, which is expected to hit screens in August. The film also stars Shabeer Kallarakkal, Gokul Suresh, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Chemban Vinod in pivotal roles.
