Are you ready to play a game with Mammukka? The trailer of Mammootty‘s latest horror thriller Bramayugam is out and it promises to be a gripping, chilling experience.

Played entirely in black and white, the over two-minute-long trailer begins with an unseen entity breaking its chain and letting lOose. What follows is the invitation to play a game– of life and death.

Mammootty steals the show with his shocking transformation, every bit spooky and intriguing. The actor keeps the tension thriving through the trailer, as the horror reaches its crescendo. “This is Bramayugam,” Mammootty says, “A worsened era of Kalyugam,” as the trailer ends with an eerie visual of the actor’s menacing laughter.

Written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who had previously helmed the 2022 horror Bhoothakaalam, the film also stars Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz among others. Bramayugam is gearing for a February 15 release.

This will be Mammootty’s first full-fledged film of the year, which will also see the release of his action thriller Bazooka. Mammotty had a great 2023 with films like Kaathal – The Core and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam.
