Celebrity couple Kichu Tellus and Roshna Ann Roy have decided to part ways, ending their companionship five years after tying the knot. Taking to social media, Roshna herself shared the update with their fans. Mentioning that they are still “close friends in many ways,” she stated that they both deserve to live in peace, albeit on different paths.

“After five wonderful years together, we have chosen to part ways with love and respect,” she wrote on social media, expressing her gratitude for the memories. Roshna added, “I am not saying this to make it a celebration on social media, but because I feel it is the right time to reveal it. Both of us are alive, both of us deserve to live in peace, but on different paths.”

She continued, “Yes, blood is thicker than water. That’s why I’ve stepped aside and given you all the space you wanted. I’m free, he’s free, and ‘I wish everyone peace!’ I have to come out and share this, though it is not easy for me. Some may feel happy, and I sincerely pray that their happiness continues. We were very close friends, and in many ways, we still are. Kichu and I, once together, are now separated. Life moves on. Thank you to everyone who has been with us in this journey. I don’t want to hide this, and I only ask that everyone respects our personal space as we move forward in our lives separately.”

Pointing out that it was on a September 30 that she lost her father — a moment she described as her “first pain in life” — Roshna explained that this was why she chose to share the news of her separation also on the same date. She concluded, “From loss to loss, I choose to rise.”

Roshna Ann Roy and Kichu Tellus tied the knot at St Ann’s Church in Aluva, Kochi, in November 2020. While Roshna is known for her performances in movies like Oru Adaar Love, Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte, Sul, and Dhamaka, Kichu rose to fame with his debut movie, Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Angamaly Diaries. He has since appeared in films like Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, Ajagajantharam (where he also served as the co-writer), Iratta, and Daveed.
