September is bringing a fresh slate of K-dramas, with a few fan-favourite August releases continuing into next month as well. From Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee’s My Youth to Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun’s slice-of-life comfort, and Lim Yoon A with Lee Chae Min in the historical fantasy Bon Appétit, there’s plenty lined up to binge as 2025 enters its last quarter. Netflix, expanding its K-content slate, is rolling out both new originals and awaited titles, while other OTT platforms are equally packed with strong releases. Here’s a list of 12 upcoming K-dramas dropping in September 2025.
Plot: The romantic drama marks Song Joong Ki’s comeback to the drama scene and follows the life of a former child star who is now a novelist and florist. He reunites with his first love, an entertainment manager. The duo’s lives, entangled after a heartbreaking past, form the central theme of this story about second chances.

Her mission is to survive for three months under her new identity, while protecting her husband’s inheritance from greedy eyes.
Plot: This one is a crime comedy where three con artists team up to scam corrupt villains. The story is set against the backdrop of the real estate and financial sectors.
Plot: The series is a political thriller, action and romance series. The story is about a diplomat and an international special agent with a mysterious background. The two cross paths and embark on a dangerous mission.
Plot: Set in the 1980’s the slice of life drama follows the group of bus attendants chasing their dreams, love and friendship. The drama is a period piece.
Plot: The mystery comedy series follows the life of a former negotiator who now runs a fried chicken shop. He uses his negotiation skills to secretly help people and, in the process, develops a friendship with a judge in the neighbourhood.
Plot: According to IMDb, “It depicts the story of an ordinary housewife, Kang Eun Su, who turns to crime by selling drugs worth hundreds of billions of won that she accidentally finds while struggling to pay for her terminally ill husband’s medical expenses.”
Plot: The story centres on family, revenge and manipulation and revolves around two strong and fierce rivals in a war of lies and alliances.
