Actor Tom Holland was reportedly rushed to the hospital following a stunt accident on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. According to The Sun, Holland is believed to have sustained a head injury after a fall, resulting in a concussion. In addition to Holland, a female stunt performer—reportedly doubling for the actor—was also taken to the hospital by ambulance. The incident occurred on Friday at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Hertfordshire, leading to an immediate suspension of filming.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed: “We were called at 10:30 a.m. on Friday to attend to a patient who had sustained an injury at Leavesden Studios in Watford. An ambulance was sent to the scene, and the patient was transported to hospital for further care.”

Post the incident, Holland’s father and comedian Dominic Holland addressed the issue during a charity dinner in Mayfair. He stated that his son would be away from filming “for a while.” Holland himself was in attendance at the event with his fiancee and co-star Zendaya but reportedly left early after feeling unwell.

The incident may prompt an investigation by the UK’s Health and Safety Executive, which oversees workplace safety.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be Holland’s fourth standalone Spider-Man film and is currently slated for a 2026 release. The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and produced by Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
