Hollywood star Jeremy Renner says he had written his “last words” for his family in the hospital after his devastating snowplow accident on New Year’s day. Renner is currently recovering from the injuries he sustained in the snowplow accident, which occurred after he tried to help remove a family member’s car from being stuck in the snow.
The actor’s snowplow ended up running him over and critically injuring him. In an interview with Diane Sawyer, the Hawkeye star said that after the accident, he was “writing down notes in my phone”, calling them his “last words to my family.”
An earlier teaser for the interview featured a description of Renner’s extensive injuries – “a collapsed lung, eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken eye socket and a pierced liver, among others.”
The New York Times had reported how Jeremy Renner was run over by a snow-plow weighing more than 14,000 pounds that he had used to tow a car on a snowed-in private road near his home in Reno. The accident left the actor in critical but stable condition.
Renner will be next seen on the show Rennervations, which will see the star renovating vehicles in a way that they become useful for local communities–wherever he travels, across the globe– in need. The four-part reality docu series will premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar. It is the first time Renner will be seen on screen after the accident.
