Nupur Asthanas upcoming film starring Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana has finally got a title. Bewakoofiyan,as it will be called,will release on March 12 next year. When asked why they decided to opt for a quirky title,Asthana said,We started shooting for the film without a title. It was only when the music composer,Raghu Dixit made us hear the song,Bewakoofiyan,which is written by Amrita Datt,we came to the conclusion that this word goes well with the plot of our film.
The director adds that it is a romantic film that shows how the consumerist lifestyle affects relationships in todays day and age. Hence,the makers thought the word Bewakoofiyan fits the bill. Asthana adds,People make mistakes,and certain relationships are incomplete without bewakoofiyan,isnt it? Although Khurrana has completed shooting his part,some portions of Kapoor are still left to be filmed. These portions will be shot in Mumbai and some parts of Dubai in the coming months.
