A 5,000 episode mega serial on the life of Lord Parshuram is being planned which is likely to be aired on television around Diwali this year,sources associated with the project said.
To make the extensive TV drama series on the life of Lord Parshuram,Someshwar Productions conducted a comprehensive research on the deity throughout the country and collected minute details of the life,Sushil Yogi,an official with the production company said.
The shooting for the serial will begin soon at a set coming up in Bhayander township of Thane district,he said.
