Fans of actor Sidharth Malhotra will have to wait a little longer to see him again on the big screen, as his next feature Yodha has had yet another date change. The aerial actioner, which was set to release on December 8, will now open in cinemas only next year.

On Tuesday, Sidharth dropped new posters of Yodha which features him in a rugged avatar. The film will see him play a commando, who finds himself in a situation of a plane hijack.

The actor posted two new posters of the Karan Johar-backed production, which will now land in cinema on March 15, 2024. Sidharth captioned the post, “Gear up for a touchdown full of action & thrill!👊 Fasten your seatbelts, #Yodha will be landing on 15th March, 2024”.

Directed by debutant duo Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, Yodha is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films.

The film has seen multiple release date changes over the last one year, from July 7, September 15 to December 8, on which date it was earlier clashing with Katrina Kaif’s thriller Merry Christmas.

Yodha will see Sidharth transition from his boy-next-door image to an action hero. He has earlier dabbled in the genre with his 2019 dud Marjaavaan. This will also be his first theatrical release after 2022 washout comedy Thank God. Yodha also stars Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani.
