Actor Priyanka Chopra is busy with the wedding functions of her brother, Siddharth Chopra, who is all set to tie the knot with actor Neelam Upadhyaya. PeeCee in India with her daughter, Malti Marie, to attend the wedding. Several photos and videos from the pre-wedding festivities are all over the internet. A ‘Mata ki Chowki’ was hosted by the Chopra family on Tuesday and the photos were shared by Priyanka’s mom Dr Madhu Chopra.
Sharing a series of photos from last night, Madhu Chopra wrote, “A divine start to the wedding festivities! May Mata Rani bless the couple @siddharthchopra89 @neelamupadhyaya with happiness, love, and prosperity🙏Blessed to have family and friends around for this auspicious start❤.”
In a video Priyanka was seen in a car along with her daughter, Malti, her mother-in-law, Denise Miller-Jonas, and father-in-law, Kevin Jonas. A video also featured Priyanka protecting Malti from camera flashes as paparazzi surrounded their car.

Neelam Upadhyaya took to her Instagram story to share some inside photos from her mehendi function. The bride-to-be rocked in a green sharara set. In the photos, Neelam looked all excited for her big day.

Earlier, Priyanka’s mom Dr Madhu Chopra shared a photo and wrote, “Behna’s and bhabhi taking Sajan ki Mehandi.” Some videos of Priyanka Chopra visiting Neelam Upadhyaya’s house with daughter Malti Marie have also been shared on her fan pages.

Neelam came into the limelight after her engagement took place in August last year with Siddharth. Siddharth and Neelam had a traditional roka ceremony in April 2024, which was attended by Priyanka Chopra.
Going by Neelam’s post, the couple also had a intimate hastakshar ceremony in April last year.
Neelam Upadhyaya has predominantly worked in Telugu and Tamil films. Born on October 5, 1993, Neelam rose to fame with MTV Style Check and went on to make her acting debut with Mr 7 (2012). This 31-year-old actor was also seen in films like Action 3D (2013), Unnodu Oru Naal (2013), Tamil film Om Shanthi Om (2015), Pandagala Vachadu (2018), and Tamasha (2018).
About her family, reports have it that she has a brother who is already married and an elder sister, who resides in Australia.
Siddharth Chopra and Neelam Upadhyaya interestingly met on a dating app, in which Priyanka Chopra had invested. In an interview with Harper Bazaar UK, Priyanka revealed about the same and had shared, “For once, he was grateful for something I did! They’re so cute. I love love.”
Neelam was also in the news recently after she mocked Sonam Kapoor’s emotional ramp walk for late fashion designer Rohit Bal. Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has been posing photos and videos from the preparations for the upcoming wedding.
