Coldplay’s singer Chris Martin and Deepika Padukone viral photo: The buzz surrounding the Mumbai leg of British rock band Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025” has become so intense that it feels like there are only two groups of people in India right now: those who have tickets for their concert and those who don’t. Due to overwhelming demand, Coldplay had added a third show, in addition to the already scheduled performances on January 18 and 19, 2025, at DY Patil Sports Stadium. This extra show will take place on January 21 at the same venue. The excitement among melophiles is palpable, especially since this is Coldplay’s first performance in India in eight years and both fans and Indian celebrities have not forgotten their last visit, which took the country by storm.
The impact of their 2016 visit during the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai was so significant that a photo showing the band’s singer-songwriter Chris Martin partying with Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone at SRK’s residence, Mannat, has gone viral on social media eight years later.
In one of the pictures, Deepika and Chris can be seen engaged in a conversation, seemingly oblivious of their surroundings. As Deepika speaks enthusiastically with a bright smile, Chris listens attentively. Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is also seen pictured sitting next to Chris.
Another photo shared by actor Sikandar Kher shows the group, including Chris and Deepika, gathered around Shah Rukh Khan, all intently listening to him, underlining why he is rightfully called Bollywood’s Baadshah. Other celebrities reported to have attended the party included Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Farhan Akhtar and Shraddha Kapoor.
