Madness is what you expect from Farah Khan’s movies and more importantly, the dance numbers.
The latest to join the list is the new song from her upcoming movie ‘Happy New Year’ – Nonsense Ki Night – and true to the name, the song is nonsensical.
It’s gibberish, its crazy but hey! it’s fun. The lyrics are actually the English translations of some famous Hindi idioms – from ‘gayi bhains paani mein’ to ‘naach na jaaney aangan tedha’. ‘Nonsense ki night’ is for sure, nonsense ki height!
The song doesn’t have much to deliver to the music lovers or to the dance lovers, but the cast’s crazy dance moves surely make up for the lack of everything. Sung by Mika Singh, the number is foot tapping and howsoever one may criticize it for the ‘nonsense’ it generates, it’ll climb the chartbusters’ list soon.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah look adorably funny in the song. We say, stop looking for music or lyrics or dance or logic, just be crazy along.
