Actor Vicky Kaushal has shared a funny anecdote about his wedding with Katrina Kaif. In a video that has surfaced on the internet, Vicky was seen sharing a behind-the-scenes story of how both the families at the wedding were distinguishable as the difference between them was so stark.
During the promotions of his last theatrical release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vicky Kaushal had opened up about the wedding, which happened in December 2021.
“Humari shaadi mein clear pata tha ladke waale kaun hai aur ladki waale kaun hai (at our wedding it was evident who was from the groom’s side, who was from the bride’s side). One was full pind Punjab, the other was UK return, so it was that evident! Everyone was at the bar, but who can beat Punjab in food? And some people just come to (complain). Sometimes your fufa ji (uncle) comes to point out flaws, that (while making a face), ‘golgappe khatam hogaye,'” the actor said as everyone started laughing.
Recently, in an interview with Film Companion, Vicky opened about Katrina and said how she is practical person when it comes to work but a “very emotional” person otherwise. The actor said Katrina will say a “fact as a fact”, especially when it comes to his performances.
“When I show her my dance rehearsal, then I am dead. I know this is coming from all that experience, and it helps me so much. When it comes to making decisions, when I am wondering ye karu ya wo karu (what should I do)… she will really state things which I know are coming from so much experience of highs and lows, of right decisions and mistakes. When she has an opinion, I know I have to consider it seriously because it is very objective. That wisdom and practicality is something very commendable,” he had said.
On the work front, Vicky had a super hit start of the year with Zara Hatle Zara Bachke, co-starring Sara Ali Khan. The actor will now hope to end the year on a high as he awaits the release of his next, Sam Bahadur. The biopic based on the life of India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw is directed by Meghna Gulzar and scheduled to release on August 1.
