Actor Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, along with their son Aarav and daughter Nitara, travelled to Jaipur to welcome the New Year. Twinkle took to Instagram to share how she had to ‘switch from party mode to cozy family celebrations’. Sharing a small clip, Mrs Funnybones showed fans a glimpse into their family celebrations.
Twinkle posted a video on Instagram, and wrote along with it, “Started the New Year in Jaipur, balancing a shopping spree, a party at the palace with my son and a clock-watching race back to the gorgeous @theleelapalace_jaipur to ring in 2025 in our hotel room with my husband and daughter.”
In her witty style, Twinkle added, “Their exceptional hospitality made it all too easy to switch from party mode to cozy family celebrations.” She then wrote “Me at 11:59? Cinderella with mascara smudges and a shoe bite. How did your midnight moment look—glamorous or gloriously chaotic?”
The video shares glimpses of Twinkle and also her son Aarav.

Akshay Kumar and his family were also seen at a leopard reserve in the city, and some videos and photos of the actor along and his family at the safari were shared online. Akshay was seen sitting in a jeep with Twinkle, Nitara and Aarav.
Later during the day, Akshay and the family were spotted at Mumbai airport as they returned to the city after their New Year getaway.
On the work front, Akshay will next be seen in Housefull 5 which also stars Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueliene Fernandez and among others. The film will have a theatrical release in June 2025.
