Timmy Narang confirms divorce with Isha Koppikar, says she has moved out of his house with daughter

Actor Isha Koppikar and restaurateur Timmy Narang have officially called it quits. The two filed for divorce, which was granted to them in November last year, Timmy Narang has revealed.

According to a report in Times of India, the duo ended their marriage of 14 years, with Isha moving out of his residence with their nine-year-old daughter, Rianna. Timmy said they were “contemplating divorce” for almost a year and a half. The divorce was granted in November last year and it was on “amicable terms,” he added.

“Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact.” He was speaking amid new reports that Isha was exploring legal options for divorce proceedings. Timmys said there shouldn’t be “any confusion” as the divorce had already come through. On Instagram the actor still has her full name– Isha Koppikar Narang.

The duo had tied the knot in 2009 after reportedly meeting at a gym, following which they started dating. Isha is known for her Hindi film appearances like Shah Rukh Khan’s Don, Vivek Oberoi starrer Kyaa Kool Hai Hum and Qayamat. She will be next seen in Ayalaan. The Tamil sci-fi film stars stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh and Sharad Kelkar among others.

According to the official synopsis, the film follows a group of friends who befriend an alien as a group of hostile scientists chase it. The makers are yet to announce a release date.
