Netflix has announced the release date of its upcoming docu-series The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth. The series is scheduled to premiere on the streaming giant across the world on February 23. The show delves into the infamous case of Indrani Mukerjea, the former CEO of INX Media, who made headlines in 2015 for her alleged involvement in the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora.
A collaboration of Netflix, MakeMake and India Today Group, The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth will unravel complex relationships and secrets that surround the murder of Sheena Bora. The docu-series, directed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, will feature interviews with Indrani Mukerjea herself, her children Vidhie Mukherjea and Mikhail Bora, along with veteran journalists and lawyers. It is set to unveil unsettling call recordings between Indrani, her husband Peter Mukerjea, and Rahul Mukerjea.
Additionally, unseen images of the Mukerjea family will also be featured in the show.
With its promise of unraveling buried truths and delving into the complexities of one of India’s most notorious cases, The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth is poised to captivate audiences and ignite conversations when it premieres on Netflix later this month.
