Earlier a journalist Vickey Lalwani posted on X, “Dharmendra is in the ICU in Breach Candy Hospital. When I contacted the hospital, I was told that the legendary actor came in, complaining of breathlessness. Currently, his vital parameters are reading well and he is stable.” He added, “I got in touch with Breach Candy Hospital and was connected to a person who said, “Dharmendra came in complaining of breathlessness. He is in the ICU and he is sleeping now.”
His last post read, “”Nothing to worry?” I asked. “No, right now nothing to worry. He is stable. His parameters are okay- the heart rate is 70, the blood pressure is 140 by 80. His urine output is also good.” Here’s wishing Dharamji a full and speedy recovery.”
Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter and actor Esha Deol, who celebrated her 44th birthday on November 2nd. shared a throwback picture with her parents recently and wrote, “I am because of you . Hema Malini and Dharmendra first crossed paths on the sets of the 1970 film Tum Haseen Main Jawaan. At the time, Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur and was a father to four children — sons Sunny and Bobby, and daughters Ajeeta and Vijeta Deol. Despite facing considerable opposition, Hema and Dharmendra tied the knot in 1980. The couple later welcomed two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol Vohra.

On the work front, Dharmendra, who is turning 90 on December 8, will be seen in the film Ikkis. The biographical war drama stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda in the lead role alongside Simar Bhatia, niece of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and daughter of Alka Bhatia, who will be making her acting debut with the film. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, teh film also stars Dharmendra and Jaideep Ahlawat.
