Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today announced Rs One lakh assistance to filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, who is keeping unwell.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today announced Rs One lakh assistance to filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, who is keeping unwell.

61-year-old Kalpana Lajmi, who was the companion to late Dadasaheb Phalke awardee Bhupen Hazarika, was recently admitted to a Mumbai hospital with complaints of kidney ailments.

Tarun Gogoi, in a statement, announced the financial assistance to her from Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The Chief Minister also wished her quick recovery and a healthy life.
