Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani tied the knot on February 21. However, ahead of the big day, Aadar sparked controversy with a remark about his past relationships. During his speech for Alekha at the mehendi ceremony, he referred to his previous relationships as merely ‘timepass.’ For the unversed, Aadar previously dated actor Tara Sutaria. While Tara chose not to react to the comment, her mother, Tina Sutaria, has seemingly taken an indirect jibe at Aadar on social media.
Tina took to her Instagram Stories and posted a note which read, “If your boyfriend/husband ever says anything disrespectful to you, tell him to write it down on a piece of paper, get in his car, drive and deliver it to his mother, or simply hand it to his daughter. If he can’t say it to his mother or doesn’t want another man to one day say it to his daughter, he shouldn’t be saying it to you.”
Although Tina Sutaria didn’t mention Aadar Jain by name, the timing of her post drew attention.

During the speech at his mehendi ceremony, Aadhar Jain had said, “I have always loved her and I have always wanted to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time-pass. It was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was worth the wait. It’s a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I’m with you, baby.”
The statement disappointed netizens, with many criticizing Aadar for calling his previous relationship ‘timepass.’
Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s wedding was a star-studded affair with the entire Kapoor family, including, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor, among others, in attendance. In addition, even Shah Rukh Khan and Rekha made an appearance on their big day.
