Fans were in for an unexpected twist as they flocked to theatres to witness the electrifying chemistry between their favourite stars, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. However, the true surprise came in the form of a delicate and sweet romance between veteran actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Following the film’s release the actors’ iconic kissing scene became the talk of the town and now Dharmendra’s eldest son, Sunny Deol, has reacted to it.

During a conversation with NDTV, Sunny was asked for his thoughts on Dharmendra and Shabana’s intimate scene. He said, “My dad can do anything and he’s the only actor I would say, who can carry it off. I didn’t see it, I have heard about it. I have not watched the film. Filmein itni dekhta nahi hoon main (I don’t watch films much). Main khud ki picture kayi baar nahi dekhta (I often don’t watch my own films).”

When queried about whether he had discussed the scene with his father, Sunny Deol explained, “No! I mean how can I talk to my dad about that? He is a personality, who can… kuch bhi cheez carry kar sakte hain woh (He can carry everything)… because of his humility, honesty…”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has taken the box office by storm. The Karan Johar-directed film has garnered praise from both critics and audiences alike and has raked in an impressive Rs 105 crore within its first 10 days of release.

As for Sunny Deol, the actor is currently engrossed in promoting his upcoming film, Gadar 2. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the movie also features Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles. Scheduled for release on August 11, the film is set to clash with Akshay Kumar’s OMG 2.
