After the success of celebrity YouTube vlogs like Farah Khan’s, Sunita Ahuja — known for her candid and bold remarks about her husband, actor Govinda — has launched her own YouTube channel. While Farah’s videos focus mainly on cooking, Sunita’s channel is centered around spirituality. She frequently visits temples across Maharashtra, sharing not just the stories and significance behind these shrines but also exploring nearby local shops and eateries.

In her latest vlog, Sunita visited the iconic Mumba Devi Temple, dedicated to the goddess after whom Mumbai is named. The video began with a bit of drama — Sunita panicking over losing her solitaire ring, a precious gift from Govinda during their 1987 wedding.

A visibly anxious Sunita Ahuja turned to her manager Mukesh, saying, “Mukesh, please look — I can’t find my solitaire!” Mukesh then suggested they visit the Mumba Devi Temple and ask the Goddess for help. “Let’s go to Mumba Devi Temple,” he said. “Make a mannat — she will surely help you find your ring!”

On her way to the temple, Sunita called her son Yash. “Son, can you please check if I have left my solitaire in your room? I can’t find it. I am on my way to Mumba Devi Temple. Your father got me this around our engagement time — and if I lose it, he won’t buy me another one! Not even the tiniest solitaire!” she quipped.

Once she reached the temple, Sunita Ahuja showed her viewers the beautifully decorated premises for Diwali. “One should come here in the evening,” she said. “I just hope the Goddess helps me find my ring.” Moments later, after taking the darshan of Mumba Devi, she revealed excitedly, “Mata ka darshan karte hi mujhe mera ring mere bag mein hi mil gaya!”

The temple priest gifted her bangles and a chunni blessed by the Goddess, which left her overjoyed. “I was actually wishing for bangles from the Goddess — and she gave me exactly that! They even match my outfit and fit perfectly. It feels like the Goddess aligned it all for me.”

After offering prayers to Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesha, Sunita Ahuja stepped out to enjoy some local sweets before visiting a jewelry store nearby. There, she picked a stunning rani haar and matching bangles worth Rs 10 lakh. With a playful grin, she said, “Chichi, you’re going to buy this for me — and also these bangles!”

Turning to the shopkeeper, she said, “I will share Govinda’s number with you. He will send you a cheque.”

The shopkeeper laughed and said, “Please do! We miss him — there’s no star like Govinda. I saw his interview recently where he spoke so lovingly about his parents.”

Sunita immediately chimed in, “I almost interrupted him during that interview! I wanted to say — don’t just give credit to your parents, I have also given 40 years of my life to you!”

With her signature candor, she concluded, “There’s truly no one like him. Aaj kal ke logo ka kaam dekh ke maza nahi aata!”
