From the 80s till date, actor Suniel Shetty has managed to impress audiences not just with his power packed performances but also fitness level. One of the industry’s first ‘fit’ actors, he hasn’t even shied away from flaunting his physique on screen. In a recent interview, Shetty opened up about how he follows a strict schedule that has kept him going all these years.
Talking to News18, the Hera Pheri actor said he has adhered to a routine and discipline, saying it is a must and ‘his key to a fit body even in his sixties’. He shared how he eats at a fixed time and always carries homemade food with him.
“My timing of having lunch at one o’clock has always been there come what may, rain or storm. If I’m called at five in the morning, I’ll go but I need to have lunch at one and dinner at seven. I carry food from home. I never eat on the sets and that’s not because it’s unhealthy but it doesn’t allow me to balance my calories and diet. Having breakfast, lunch and dinner on time are the three most important things for me. After that, you may work me like a horse and I’ll be okay,” he told the publication.
Earlier, in a video shared on LinkedIn, the Bollywood actor opened up about the importance of having a schedule and being consistent.
In the video, Suniel shared how success comes only from being consistent. He added that he believes in having a healthy life. Suniel mentioned how he wakes up at 5 am every morning, giving him a good four-five hours before he gets to work. “A lot happens at that time and it’s the best part of my day. These hours are really really precious to me. I get mental clarity, I am peaceful. I practice yoga and also do breathing exercises that time,” he shared.
Suniel Shetty added he also works out at the gym without his phone and then spends time with his mother, wife and children, and also plays with his pets. The actor said his routine is behind his good health and positive approach toward life. He added that it also gives him control over time and how to shape his own routine
On the work front, Suniel Shetty was last seen in the web series Hunter. He is currently filming for Hera Pheri 3.
