The latest episode of Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill has left fans quite impressed. Hosting 90s star Suniel Shetty, Shehnaaz was seen indulging in some meaningful and fun conversations. The Hera Pheri actor even revealed the secret behind his nickname ‘Anna’ and also gave some business tips to the host. In another segment, the actor invited Shehnaaz to stay at his house in order to help her get to know him better.
At some point during their chat, Shehnaaz called Suniel Shetty a ‘cool guy’, to which he agreed. She mentioned how she would like to stay with him in one of his hotels to find out more about him. “Aise toh mujhe pata nahi chalega, jaise aap actor bhi ho, businessman bhi ho, toh mujhe to pehle tips bhi do because I want to start a business (You are an actor, a businessman, so I would like to get some tips from you as my next target is to start a business),” she shared, adding that she will stay with his family for six days at his hotel to witness how ‘cool’ he is.
The actor responded, “See if I am cool nah then I will call you at my home to stay for 5 to 6 days. In hotels, in our culture, we go by the line ‘Atithi devo bhava’, so, therefore, I will call you at my house with your family and you will get that much freedom and coolness from my side and I won’t disturb you at all. So tell me if you would like to stay at my house or in my hotel. I won’t even take money from you even if you stay in my hotel.”
On the talk show, Suniel opened up about his business ventures as well, and said, “I was a businessman and I had done hotel management. When I got out, my father said, ‘You have one life, try your luck.’ And the films worked, but critics were not in favour of me. Hence, I was scared, ‘Will this career sustain and for how long will it sustain?’ And that’s why I never left my business. It is important to be financially secure. When I was sure that acting was my career, I kept investing, but I stopped doing business.” The actor advised Shehnaaz not to venture into business because she has already become a brand, and told her to focus on acting, adding, “You are doing well for yourself.”
Shehnaaz Gill will soon make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. She also has a few other projects lined up, including 100% with Riteish Deshmukh and John Abraham and another Rhea Kapoor production venture. Suniel Shetty, on the other hand, is shooting for Hera Pheri 3 which will reunite him with Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. His web series Hunter is also up for release.
