Stree 2 box office collection day 31: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s film Stree 2 has been running successfully in cinemas for a month now. The horror comedy, also starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana, is 2024’s biggest hit so far. According to early estimates by trade tracker Sacnilk, Stree 2 had made a domestic collection of Rs 547.95 crore by day 31 of its release.
On Saturday, the movie earned Rs 5.25 crore. Stree 2 is not facing much competition from this week’s big release, Kareena Kapoor-starrer The Buckingham Murders. The movie opened at just Rs 1.15 crore and earned only Rs 1.90, crore, according to early estimates.
On Friday, Stree 2 makers introduced a buy one, get one offer, positively impacting the collections. The film is all set to enter the Rs 550 crore club soon.
The Amar Kaushik directorial got 2.5 stars from The Indian Express film critic Shubhra Gupta. She wrote in her Stree 2 review, “Despite all the frantic criss-crossing in Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao film, you feel the pace of Stree 2, never the best thing for a film which wants you to suspend all disbelief for its duration.”
