Stree 2 box office collection day 10: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao film crosses Rs 500 crore mark

On its second Saturday, Stree 2 earned Rs 33.8 crore. The Shraddha and Rajkummar movie saw a jump of more than 85 per cent. On Friday, the film had collected Rs 17.5 crore. Though Stree 2 had seen a dip on Thursday, on its second weekend the movie bounced back. The film also had the highest occupancy 48.39 per cent on the second Saturday. Surprisingly, the footfall has increased for the afternoon shows. Delhi-NCR has seen the highest number of shows, but in terms of occupancy, Bengaluru takes the lead. With 1195 shows, NCR had an occupancy of 59.75 per cent. While Bengaluru had just 373 shows, the film’s occupancy in the state was 63.25 per cent. Even with 424 shows, Pune leads in terms of occupancy leaving Mumbai behind despite having the second-highest number of shows after NCR, which was 1136.

While Stree 2 is emerging as the highest grosser of 2024, the film has also overtaken Shraddha Kapoor’s 2023 hit Tu Jhoothi Mein Makkaar and Saaho. Stree 2 has also surpassed the box office collections of Stree. Other than Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in important roles. Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar, and Tamannaah Bhatia have cameos in the movie. Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films.

With no big releases this weekend, the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer will continue to dominate the box office.
