Stardom: Aryan Khan spotted shooting his directorial debut series in bylanes of Mumbai, watch video

Previously, Aryan also shot ads for his fashion label D’yavol X. These ads featured his father Shah Rukh Khan and sister Suhana Khan. Opening up about his experience directing the advertisments, he told GQ India, “They’re both creatively stimulating in different ways. As the creative director of the brand, I shoot the ads, as well as oversee the photoshoots. I’m very involved creatively, but not as much when it comes to the logistics. On the other hand, as a director I have to look into every detail, every shot and every angle.”

According to Bollywood Hungama, Stardom will feature Mona Singh in a pivotal role. The show will have cameo appearances by SRK, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, and Bobby Deol. It is also claimed that Lakshya Lalwani plays the lead in the series. The series is also said to feature Gautami Kapoor, who is known for her roles in television serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Qubool Hai. The show is reportedly backed by SRK and Gauri Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment and will drop on an OTT platform.

Previously, Shah Rukh told late night talk show host Dave Letterman that Aryan wasn’t too keen on following in his footsteps and becoming an actor. “He (Aryan) doesn’t have what it takes to be an actor and he realises that too, but he’s a good writer. I think wanting to be an actor has to come from within. Something you really need to do and find a set of skill that helps you do it and learn it. But I think I realised it from him when he said that to me,” Shah Rukh had said.
