Actors Ashton Kucther, Abhishek Bachchan and media moghul Simon Cowell have joined the increasing number of celebrities taking up the Ice Bucket Challenge.
‘Holiday’ actress Sonakshi Sinha shared a video of herself on Instagram participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge. However, instead of dumping icy cold water on her head, the actress overturns an empty bucket. “So I just saved a lot of water and now I’m going to go donate the money,” she says in the video.
“Nobody nominated me. But i still took the challenge. And now i nominate you ALL to do what i just did. If you’ve already showered, skip the ice water. If you havent, go ahead by all means. BUT please Go to http://www.als.org to donate,” posted the actress.
Another celebrity who participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge a little differently is none other than former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star Charlie Sheen. The actor dumped a vessel full of cold hard cash on his head. He then nominated his former co-star Jon Cryer, creator of ‘Two and a Half Men’ Chuck Lorre and latest addition to the show, Ashton Kutcher.
The Ice Bucket Challenge is to promote awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease).
