Actor-model Celina Jaitly has had a tough going of things since last year. After losing contact with her brother, who was reportedly abducted and jailed in the Middle East, she is now going through a very public divorce with husband Peter Haag. The actor who first accused Haag of domestic violence has now posted an emotional note on her social media, addressing the whole situation and how she is coping with it.

The No Entry actor took to her X (formerly Twitter) and posted a long message about the toughest period of her life. She started the post by saying, “In the middle of the strongest, most turbulent storm of my life, I never imagined I would spend it fighting alone, without any parents, without any support system. I never thought there would come a day without all the pillars on which the roof of my world once rested: my parents, my brother, my children & the one who promised to stand by me, love me, care for me & bear every trouble with me.”

Celina continued the message and said that people who she counted on have now walked out of her life, but that it’s not going to stop her from bouncing back even stronger. “Life stripped everything away. People I trusted walked away. Promises I believed in broke in silence. But the storm did not drown me. It delivered me. It tossed me out of violent waters onto warm sands. It forced me to meet the woman inside me who refuses to die.”

She stated that she has been taught to be merciless when wronged and that she will keep fighting for the things that are still important to her. She wrote, “I have been taught to get up when the world wants me to fall, to fight when my heart is breaking, to show no mercy when I have been wronged, and to survive even when it feels impossible. My priority remains fighting for my soldier brother, fighting for my children’s love, and fighting for my dignity.’

The actor concluded the note by lauding the law firm handling her case, and wrote that, “As my matter is subjudice, I am unable to make any comments at this time. I kindly request you to contact my legal representatives for any official information or statements.”

Celina’s Divorce from Peter Haag

Earlier this week, Celina approached a court in Mumbai and accused her husband, hotelier Haag, of domestic abuse. She filed an application under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, alleging severe emotional, physical, verbal and financial abuse by Haag. She claimed that “she was forced to flee” their home in Austria in the middle of the night and return to India on October 11, leaving her three children behind.”
