Sky Force Box Office Collection Day 7 India & Worldwide: Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan-starrer Sky Force has been performing well at the box office. The film, which released on January 24 ahead of Republic Day, has been been witnessing a decent run in the theatre. Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force has surpassed Rs 85 crore mark in India.
Sky Force’s opening day collection on Friday stood at Rs 12.25 crore, followed by Rs 22 crore and Rs 28 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. The Akshay Kumar film saw a major drop as the new week started with the film collecting Rs 7 crore, Rs 5.75 crore, and Rs 6 crore on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. On Day 7, Sky Force earned Rs 5.64 crore on Thursday, taking the total domestic nett collection of the film to Rs 86.64 crore.
Sky Force is said to be made on a budget of Rs 160 crore.
While the worldwide box office collection of Sky Force are awaited, Sacnilk reported on Thursday that the film has grossed Rs 104.7 crore mark globally, with Rs 96.75 crore gross coming from India and Rs 8 crore from overseas.
Veer Pahariya, who made the debut with with film, also shared some BTS photos from the shoot days.
Sky Force, the action-packed drama revolves around IAF officer T Vijaya (Veer) who goes missing in action during the 1965 India-Pakistan War. Akshay plays his fellow IAF officer KO Ahuja who embarks on a mission to find Vijaya played by IAF officer T Vijaya (Veer Pahariya).
Sky Force is based on a pivotal moment in Indian history. The film is about country’s retaliatory attack on Pakistan’s Sargodha airbase during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965 and is remembered as India’s first and deadliest airstrike.
