‘Shocked’ Ankita Lokhande reacts as mother-in-law takes a dig at her at Bigg Boss grand finale: ‘Won’t go to a show that tarnishes my family’s image’

The grand finale of Bigg Boss 17 took place on Sunday, with Munawar Faruqui emerging as the winner. During the event, Salman Khan engaged in lighthearted banter with Ankita Lokhande and her family, putting the spotlight on Ankita and her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, and asking them to make seven vows to each other.

Salman tasked Ankita with four promises and Ranjana with three. Agreeing to Salman’s request, Ankita pledged to care for her mother-in-law and the entire family. She offered apologies if she had fallen short in this regard and vowed to love her husband, Vicky Jain, unconditionally while ensuring his happiness. Ankita also promised to strive for the overall happiness of the family. She also committed not to fight with Vicky. This prompted a playful remark from Salman who said, “It’s not possible.”

When Ranjana Jain’s turn came to make promises, she made a cutting-remake and said, “I will not go to a show that will tarnish my family’s image.” Ankita, visibly surprised, defended herself and said that it’s not true. Salman, however, intervened, reassuring Ranjana that the couple has been happily married for two years and will continue to be together for a long time.

After losing the Bigg Boss trophy to Munawar Faruqui, Ankita appeared visibly upset after the grand finale. As she stepped out of the Bigg Boss house, the actor was mobbed by fans, and videos circulating on social media captured her walking towards her vanity van amid a crowd of fans.

Ankita was the fourth contestant to be evicted from the Bigg Boss house, with Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra emerging as the top three finalists.
