Greta Gerwig’s fantasy drama, Barbie has been receiving a mixed response from the audience. Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Kapoor, also recently watched the movie and shared her opinion on social media. She felt the song and dance sequences in the Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie starrer are not at par with the song and dance sequences that Bollywood films offer.

Mira took to her Instagram story and posted a still from Barbie, featuring the lead actors, Gosling and Robbie, in a dance sequence. Along with it, she wrote, “Hollywood this, Hollywood that. Well, Hollywood can’t do song-and-dance like Bollywood can!” Bollywood films are popular across the globe for some of the most magnificent dance numbers. Mira’s actor-husband Shahid is popular among his fans for his dancing skills.

Apart from Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie, Barbie also stars America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, Ariana Greenblatt, and Issa Rae, among others. The film has been doing a decent business in India. In four days, it has earned Rs 21.15 cr. The film based on the Mattel doll has been ruling the box office worldwide, but is running behind Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer in India.

Mira Kapoor shared her opinion on Barbie.

Internationally, the film has outperformed Oppenheimer, which released on the same day. As per the news agency AP, it registered a global weekend collection of $337 million.

Not just Mira, television actor Juhi Parmar also penned a long note against Barbie. She revealed that she walked out of the theatre with her daughter within 15 minutes as she found the content of the film unsuitable for children.
