Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan made Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan’s long pending movie date possible

What takes filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and his wife and actor Soni Razdan to go on a movie date? A Shah Rukh Khan film. The couple was recently spotted at a Mumbai theatre, where they watched SRK’s latest movie Jawan. After the show, Razdan shared her admiration for the film on Twitter.

Surrounded by paparazzi, the couple was asked about their thoughts on Jawan, Razdan praised the SRK-starrer by describing it as “fabulous”. Bhatt chimed in, “Aise lagi jaise puri Hindustan ko, puri duniya ko lag rahi hai (I liked the film as much as it is liked by people all over India and the world).”


In a tweet, Soni Razdan also shared her joy about the movie date with her husband, crediting SRK for making it happen after many years. She wrote, “It took @iamsrk and #Jawaan to get the both of us out on a movie date night after I don’t know how many years ! And what a fabulous film – mind is blown ♥️ is happy @Atlee_dir wow Sir 🤩 🥳 Shah Rukh Khan gets more amazing with each film. Huge congratulations all round 🎉👏👏👏.”


Jawan, which released on September 7, crossed the Rs 300 crore mark within just five days. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film collected an impressive Rs 30 crore on Monday, bringing its total domestic earnings to a remarkable Rs 316.16 crore.
