Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film, Jawan, directed by Atlee, has been in the theatres for over a week and is winning the hearts of the audience. Jawan has now crossed the Rs 700 crore mark globally. To celebrate this, Shah Rukh, along with Vijay Sethupathi Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, Atlee, Anirudh Ravichander, Raja Kumari, and others, held a media event on Friday.
In one of the many videos doing the rounds on the internet, SRK, along with Deepika, Vijay, Sanya Malhotra, and others, posed for a group photo at the end of the event. But here’s the amusing part: SRK noticed that Atlee and some others were sitting down for the photo, so he decided to do something different. He laid down on the floor, striking an uber cool pose. At first, people were surprised, but then they noticed his gesture and clapped for King Khan.
Fans on the internet noticed SRK’s gesture and lauded the actor for his down-to-earth behaviour. One of the fans said, “King Khan for a reason.” Another wrote, “SRK is so humble.”
SRK gave a heartwarming speech about Jawan at the event. The actor said, “A lot is being said about Jawan. Atlee has put so much in this film in such a short span of time that the essence of the film will go on. I’ll tell you what Jawan to all of us is. So, listen to it quite carefully, genuinely I feel this. I think Jawan is a feeling which every Indian has. I think Jawan is an emotion. Jawan is an Indian soldier. Jawan is an Indian mother. Jawan is an Indian girl. Jawan is an Indian vigilante. You have to understand that Jawan many times is very weak just like all of us.”
Jawan was released in theatres on September 7. The film also stars Nayanthara.
