Netflix on Monday released a new poster of Suhana Khan’s debut film titled The Archies. Proud dad Shah Rukh Khan also shared the movie’s poster and wrote about the dose of nostalgia it gave him.

The musical, directed by Zoya Akhtar, stars Suhana as Veronica, Khushi Kapoor as Betty, and Agastya Nanda as Archie. Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda play the other gang members.

Sharing the new poster of The Archies, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “I remember when I was young ( millions of years ago ) would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love.”

Shah Rukh also conducted an ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter on Monday evening. During the session, a fan asked, “Archies coming on Netflix. How do you feel as a proud father?#AskSRK @iamsrk #suhanakhan.”

Replying to this, SRK wrote, “Father bias and excitement will always be there but looking forward to a Zoya Akhtar film actually….”

The Archies began production last year in April. It is bankrolled by the production house Tiger Baby. The makers have not announced the release date of the film yet.
