Actor Shah Rukh Khan did a surprise ‘Ask SRK’ session for his fans on Twitter on Saturday. The actor answered several questions about his upcoming film Jawan but in one of his tweets, he described the film as “a film about women made for men.”

Jawan, directed by Atlee, has a strong lineup of female artists. Not only does it mark the entry of Tamil superstar Nayanthara in Bollywood, it will also star Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra in pivotal roles with Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.

One of the fans tweeted to Shah Rukh, “Hi @iamsrk sir, eagerly anticipating #Jawan! Can you tease us with one word that best describes the journey your character goes through in the film? #AskSRK.” To this, Shah Rukh replied, “No tease, the one word that drives the movie is ‘Women’ it’s a film about women made for men!! Hope all like the Mass and Class….#Jawan”

The actor’s witty answers stole the show once again. A confused fan asked the actor for a recommendation of show timings in Dubai. Shah Rukh replied to him, “Saare show dekh le alag alag friends ke saath!! #Jawan” (Watch all shows with different friends).”

The actor was surprised by his fans’ excitement and wittiness too. A fan suggested that while everyone waits for Jawan’s trailer, the actor should just release his next film Dunki’s trailer instead. To this, Shah Rukh said, “Bhai tum toh mujhse bhi zyaada atarangi nikle…ha ha. Abhi #Jawan hi theek hai.” (You guys are extraordinary! For now, Jawan is fine).

Dunki is Shah Rukh’s next release after Jawan and will be his first collaboration with filmmaker Raj Kumar Hirani. Jawan, directed by Atlee will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film is slated to release on September 7.
