Shah Rukh Khan reacts to Suhana Khan’s song Sunoh: ‘This is so quaint and beautiful…’

Actor Shah Rukh Khan is the biggest cheerleader for his daughter Suhana Khan as her debut film The Archies nears release. The first track of the film, titled “Sunoh“, was released on Thursday, and the video gives a glimpse into the world of The Archies, which Shah Rukh described as “quaint and beautiful”.

The music video shows Suhana skating inside her house. The video also gives a good look at the other characters of the film, which is the Hindi adaption of the popular American comic Archie.

Shah Rukh Khan posted the song on his Instagram. He captioned it, “This is so quaint and beautiful the world of The Archies. Also my motivation line for today is ‘Trading my shoes in for wheels under my feet!'”

Composed by Ankur Tewari and The Islanders, the lyrics of the song are penned by Javed Akhtar and Dot. Singer Tejas has given his vocals for the song.

Suhana, in an interview with India Today, had spoken about her first day on the sets of The Archies. She said, “I think, from the number of people on set, from the number of lights on set and the hair and makeup and all the chaos. And in the middle of this, I felt extremely insignificant. And, I guess I kind of knew that everything that everyone was doing around me was felicitating the director’s vision, Zoya’s vision and I guess knowing that on my first day and realising that, I felt extremely nervous.”

The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, also introduces new talent like Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina, Aditi Saigal and Yuvraj Menda. The movie is set to release on December 7 on Netflix.

Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, has given Bollywood two blockbusters this year with Pathaan and Jawan. He is now aiming for a hattrick with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The film will also star Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
